Stores Person

About the role

The Stores Person provides the physical movement of product and components throughout the facility. This position will handle the order picking process for distribution, the movement of material through shipping and receiving, and the component picking for assembly.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for following safety policies and maintaining safe behavior and attitude throughout the department
• Put away and handling of received material
• Maintain product identification and location control
• Packaging of parts and kits in preparation for shipment
• Picking orders for inter-company and external customers
• Responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and data integrity
• Perform physical counts that are provided by the Inventory Controllers
• Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance
• Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation
• Respectfully takes direction from lead, supervisor or manager
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a warehouse/distribution center setting preferred, but not required

Skills

• Ability to handle basic material handling equipment
• Working knowledge or understanding of ERP and inventory management systems
• Basic computer skills

Pay

$19 per hour

Schedule

This role requires your presence on-site at our Sanborn facility for 100% of the time. Job Location: 6416 Inducon Drive West, Sanborn, NY 14132
