The Basics

Role Summary: The Stores Accounting Analyst is responsible for the financial management, reconciliation, and reporting of Nadel's e-commerce and company store programs. This role serves as the primary accounting liaison between Clients, Sales, Client Services, Operations, and Finance to ensure accurate financial reporting, inventory accountability, and escrow fund management.

Location: In-office at our Culver City, CA (HQ) location - 5820 Uplander Way, Culver City, CA 90230.

Compensation: $75,000-$85,000/year depending on experience

What You Will Do

  • Perform daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations for e-commerce stores and client programs.
  • Prepare detailed client facing reconciliation reports.
  • Maintain accurate reconciliation schedules and supporting documentation.
  • Analyze transactions and resolve variances.
  • Ensure all store activity is accurately recorded and reconciled within the ERP system.
  • Partner with the Accounts Receivable Manager to manage and reconcile client escrow and prepaid store funds.
  • Monitor escrow balances and reporting.
  • Serve as the primary accounting contact for store programs.
  • Act as liaison between Clients, Sales, Client Services, Operations, and Finance.
  • Present financial information in a professional and client friendly format.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Bachelor degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of accounting, reconciliation, inventory accounting, or financial reporting experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and complex reconciliation workbooks.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, inventory accounting, and account reconciliations.
  • Knowledge & Abilities: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, account reconciliations, inventory accounting, and financial reporting processes. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze large datasets and prepare accurate, client friendly reconciliation reports. Experience reconciling e-commerce store transactions, escrow funds, merchant deposits, and client billing activities. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies. Strong communication and relationship-management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, Sales, Client Services, and Finance teams.
