Storeroom Coordinator

About the role

Crown Cork and Seal USA, Inc., a world leader in the Packaging Industry, has an immediate opening for a Storeroom Coordinator for its Specialty Packaging operation in Belcamp, MD.

Responsibilities

• Ordering tooling and parts
• Managing inventory levels and ordering other items/products needed for the plant in the most efficient way possible
• Working closely with all members of the plant and reporting to the Department Manager
• Maintaining safety standards and being dependable
• Handling data entry, customer service, filing, and maintaining storeroom inventory
• Requesting price quotations, contacting service vendors for repairs, preparing requisitions, printing reports, matching requisitions and POs, receiving items into AS400, preparing FedEx and UPS shipments, effectively communicating with all levels of employees, working safely, maintaining a safe working environment, and keeping the workplace clean and orderly
• Communicating with supervisors and participating in project teams as requested

Requirements

• Computer skills, including email, Word, and Excel
• Data entry skills
• Customer service skills (phone and in person)
• Filing
• Maintain storeroom inventory
• Request price quotations for parts, tooling & supplies
• Contact service vendors for repairs
• Maintain E-Maintenance
• Prepare requisitions & submit for signatures
• Input requisitions into AS400
• Print out reports & PO’s from AS400
• Match up PO’s and requisitions for accounts payable
• Receive items into AS400
• Check in drivers
• Prepare FedEx and UPS shipments
• Effectively communicate with all levels of employees
• Work safely
• Participate, as requested, on plant or company project teams
• Maintain a safe working environment
• Maintain housekeeping and orderliness

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience
• Safety-conscious and dependable
• High attention to detail

$30.03 - $34.48 per hour
