Storeroom Attendant

About the Role

We are looking for a dependable and motivated Storeroom Attendant to support the efficient day‑to‑day operation of our Main Storeroom. The role includes receipt, storage, staging, security, and movement of parts and materials, ensuring employees have the materials they need to keep operations running smoothly.

Schedule

Hours: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (12‑hour shift)

Rotation: 2/2/3 (2 days on, 2 days off, followed by 3 days on). Weekend and holiday hours are paid at double‑time rate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Opens and receives incoming shipments, verifying that materials and quantities match packing list contents.
• Uses barcode scanners, printers, docking stations, and other equipment to document material movement.
• Stores parts and materials in established locations and conducts routine condition inspections.
• Conducts routine inventory cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Monitors personnel traffic in the storeroom and reports unauthorized access to the Storeroom Supervisor.
• Stages materials to support work‑order parts kitting, shipment preparation, or transfer.
• Moves/relocates parts and materials using hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, or other powered industrial vehicles.
• Maintains clean storeroom spaces and keeps walkways/aisles clear of materials or refuse.
