Storekeeper (Material Handler/ Warehouse Associate)

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Know and adhere to all company Safety rules and procedures.
• Lead and participate in Safety meetings.
• Ordering, receiving, and stocking of material inventory.
• Carry out routine physical inventory.
• Maintain and adjust automatic inventory replenishment levels.
• Monitor and address issues with bad order transformers, meters, and lighting.
• Enter data into INDUS for charging material and maintaining FERC required files.
• Order non-stock items using Purchase requisitions.
• Coordinate with EDC and vendors for problem resolution and special shipments.
• Identify, inspect, prepare, and dispose of materials for salvage or disposal.
• Maintain a clean and orderly stores facility.
• Become an Environmental Champion and manage environmental records related to Stores operations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Prior forklift experience, preferably 3-5 years.
• Previous warehouse experience, preferably 3-5 years.
• Basic math skills.
• Knowledge of standard electric utility material.
• Basic computer operation skills.
• Working knowledge of Asset Suite and other stores-related software and applications.
• Able to lift up to 60-80 lbs and drag or roll 110 lb coils of wire.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Available to work additional hours, alternate locations, and perform additional duties as needed due to storms, outages, emergencies, or other situations.
• Exempt employees may not be paid overtime associated with such duties.
