Job Summary
Provide help desk phone support for pharmacy and point of sale systems, in-store PCs, handheld units, networking, and phones. Document and review all call details on a corporate tracking system.
Responsibilities
- Interact promptly and courteously with stores to provide resolutions to inquiries as well as handle and resolve complaints in a professional manner.
- This interaction will be through a variety of means including but not limited to telephone, e-mail, fax, store mail, US mail, or in person.
- Attempt to minimize the length of each call, while still providing excellent service.
- Interface with other departments as needed for problem resolution.
- Interface with various hardware and software vendors for problem resolution.
- Provide timely follow up on each call until the issue is resolved.
- Document and review call and resolution details on a corporate tracking system.
- Assist in the maintenance of various master files as needed.
- Complete depot tracking forms when hardware is supplied to stores or other departments.
- Must adhere to Help Desk Policies and Procedures.
- Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum: Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Preferred: 1 or more years experience in Pharmacy operations and/or POS.
