About the role
The Store Support Teammate is responsible for creating the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for Guests. This role involves completing a variety of sales support tasks assigned by the Store Manager.
Responsibilities
- Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
- Work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and days of/afterdays of Thanksgiving and Christmas, based on store and business needs.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) software and bag purchases.
- Maintain and share knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
- Monitor and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.
- Aid in merchandising tasks, such as preparing displays, organizing fixtures and shelving, completing price markdowns, and transfers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable store to fulfill Buckle's mission statement.
- Understand and apply Buckle's Code of Ethics and all policies, procedures, and handbooks.
- Fulfill Buckle's mission statement by providing high-level Guest service while contributing to a positive team spirit.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
No prior experience or training is required.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs throughout the store and backroom.
Skills

Pay
Pay range: $15-$17/hr
