Store Sales Associate

About the Role

The Store Sales Associate is a key member of the US Commercial team, delivering exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced retail environment. Reporting to the Store Manager, this role supports retail and contractor customers with product recommendations, color matching, order support, and outstanding service, while maintaining a clean, organized store.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding needs and recommending products
• Assist with product selection, color matching, and order processing
• Mix, tint, and match paint products to customer specifications
• Process orders and payments via phone, in-person, online, and email
• Support sales initiatives and contribute to store sales goals
• Load, drive, and deliver customer orders via company vehicle
• Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when needed
• Handle, load, unload, and organize products for stocking and fulfillment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment
• Support daily operations and team priorities

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license required (must pass background check and physical)
• Customer service experience preferred, with a team-focused approach
• Strong communication and professional customer interaction skills
• Computer and keyboard proficiency for order processing
• Ability to work scheduled hours, including flexible shifts based on business needs
• Physically able to lift up to 80 lbs occasionally and 40–60 lbs routinely, with standing, lifting, carrying, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
• Ability to operate hand trucks and material handling equipment

Pay

Starting pay rate: $17/hour

Schedule

Monday – Friday: 7am – 5pm
Saturday: 8am – 12pm
Sunday: Closed
