Store Receiver - Plum Market Palm Beach

About the Role

Receivers are responsible for all functions and paperwork related to receiving, operating machinery such as the baler, compactor, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. They check all physical product against packing slips, confirm product integrity, and verify product temperature as needed. Receivers maintain an orderly and efficient receiving area, including the backroom, loading dock, and trash areas.

Responsibilities

• Model and provide exceptional customer service.
• Oversee all back-door receiving, using available technology and manual processes for all product entering or leaving the building.
• Keep the back door secure, allowing only authorized individuals to enter or exit.
• Uphold Plum Market’s quality and receiving standards.
• Maintain an organized receiving and back-of-house area, including store supply management, receiving dock, baler, bottle return, and compactors.
• Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
• Effectively communicate with customers, team members, and store leadership.

Requirements

• Minimum six months of team member experience in the industry or equivalent.
• Basic receiving product knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work a variety of retail shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break.
• Ability to bend, stoop, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, push and pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.
