Store Professional (Part Time)
The Store Pro serves as the primary point of contact for customers in the retail store, representing the NAPA brand and delivering a high-quality customer experience. This role is responsible for providing automotive parts solutions, supporting both retail and wholesale customers, and contributing to store performance through product knowledge, responsiveness, and customer engagement. It offers a strong entry point or growth path within the organization.
Performance is measured by customer satisfaction and service quality (CSAT, repeat business), accuracy and efficiency in parts identification and order fulfillment, sales performance (retail and wholesale transactions), responsiveness to customer inquiries (in-store and phone), team collaboration and support to peers, and adherence to store processes, systems, and operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate automotive parts solutions to retail and wholesale customers
- Deliver a consistently positive and engaging customer experience
- Utilize product knowledge to assist customers and support team members
- Operate systems including POS, inventory/catalog tools, and communication devices
- Maintain high energy and customer focus in a fast-paced retail environment
- Support store operations including transactions, inquiries, and general workflow
- Build relationships with customers to drive loyalty and repeat business
- Utilize delivery management systems to coordinate and dispatch deliveries, pull and prepare orders for customers and drivers, and support efficient logistics and fulfillment operations
- Perform general housekeeping, cleaning, and organizational tasks to maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming store environment
- Assist with inventory control activities, including receiving merchandise, stocking shelves, conducting cycle counts, and helping maintain accurate inventory records
- Contribute to various store operations and team support tasks as needed
