Store Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interact face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meet monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walk the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Renting self-storage spaces, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our Point-of-Sale System (POS), completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
• Processing invoices, managing reports, and legal process of auctions.
• Overseeing the store’s expense budget while maintaining store supplies and retail inventory.

Requirements

• Daily walks of the property, cleaning units and store grounds, opening, and closing of storage doors (up to 50 lbs.).
• Maintaining facility which includes mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning out storage units, and similar light activities.
• Ensuring a clean and safe storage facility to meet company guidelines (clean restrooms, neat landscaping and parking areas, storage doors that are clean and tidy, neat decluttered office space).

• Experience in delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
• A self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS office products.
