Responsibilities
- Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
- Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
- Maintaining customer relationships through regular communication and follow-up.
- Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
- Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
- Renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our Point-of-Sale System (POS), completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
- Maintaining physical properties by performing daily walks of the property, cleaning the units and the store grounds, opening, and closing of the storage doors (up to 50 lbs.).
- Maintaining facility which includes mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning out storage units, and similar activities.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the storage facility to meet company guidelines.
Qualifications
- A positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
- Experience in delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
- A self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
- Basic computer skills including MS office products.
- The ability to work Saturdays.
- Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
- The ability to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb or balance on a ladder.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.
