Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
- Interact face-to-face with customers, providing excellent service and building rapport.
- Meet monthly sales goals and metrics.
- Walk the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
- Work both independently and on a team renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our Point-of-Sale System (POS), completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
Property Maintenance
- Perform daily walks of the property, cleaning units and store grounds.
- Open and close storage doors (up to 50 lbs.).
- Maintain the facility by mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning out storage units, and similar activities.
- Keep a clean and safe storage facility to ensure conditions meet company guidelines (e.g., clean restrooms, neat landscaping and parking areas, tidy storage doors, and decluttered office space).
Requirements
- A positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
- Experience in delivering high-quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
- A self-driven mindset with a strong operational focus.
- Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
- Ability to work Saturdays; some locations may require Sunday hours.
- Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance.
- Frequent physical activity including standing, sitting, kneeling, crouching, crawling, bending, climbing, or balancing on a ladder.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.
