About the role
At CubeSmart Self-Storage, you will manage and maintain stores within your district, focusing on both customer service and property maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Customer Service
- Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing solutions while delivering a standout experience.
- Interact face-to-face with customers, providing excellent service and building rapport.
- Meet monthly sales goals and metrics.
- Perform daily operational tasks, including lock checks and showing units to customers.
- Work independently and as part of a team to rent units, sell merchandise, manage leasing, process payments via POS, complete bank deposits, and make courtesy calls for late payments.
- Property Maintenance
- Perform daily property walks, clean units and store grounds, and handle storage doors (up to 50 lbs.).
- Maintain the facility by mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning storage units, and similar tasks.
- Ensure a clean and safe facility, meeting company guidelines (e.g., clean restrooms, neat landscaping, tidy storage doors, decluttered office space).

Requirements

- Basic computer skills, including MS Office products.
- Ability to work Saturdays (some locations may require Sunday hours).
- Access to a personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance.
- Physical ability to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb, or balance on a ladder.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
