Store Operations Associate

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interact face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meet monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walk the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our Point-of-Sale System (POS), completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
• Maintain physical requirements including daily walks of the property, cleaning the units and the store grounds, opening, and closing of the storage doors (up to 50 lbs.),
• Maintaining facility which includes mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning out storage units, and similar activities.
• Ensure the facility meets company guidelines by keeping a clean and safe storage environment (i.e., clean restrooms, neat landscaping and parking areas, storage doors that are clean and tidy, and neat decluttered office space).

• A positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience in delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
• A self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS office products.
• The ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
• Frequent physical demands such as standing, sitting, kneeling, crouching, crawling, bending, climbing, and balancing on a ladder.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.
