Store Associate

About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide differentiated customer service, focusing on the customer and supporting various departments. This role requires physical stamina, visual acuity, and previous retail or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and respond to customer needs with empathy and care
• Perform cashier duties accurately, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information
• Support opening and closing store activities
• Provide customer support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
• Assist pharmacy personnel as needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy
• Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods
• Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly
• Close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection involving small parts/details

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Preferred but not required: Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting

Pay
