Store Operations Associate

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships by identifying self‑storage needs and providing appropriate solutions.
• Interact face‑to‑face with customers, delivering excellent service and building rapport.
• Meet monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walk the property to perform daily operational tasks, including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Rent self‑storage units, sell store merchandise, manage the leasing process, and accept payments using the Point‑of‑Sale (POS) system.
• Complete daily bank deposits and make courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
• Perform daily walks of the property, clean units and store grounds, and open/close storage doors (up to 50 lb).
• Maintain the facility by mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning storage units, and performing similar activities.
• Keep the facility clean and safe, ensuring restrooms, landscaping, parking areas, storage doors, and office space meet company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience delivering high‑quality customer service to a diverse market.
• Self‑driven mindset with a strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to work Saturdays; some locations may require Sunday hours.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up‑to‑date insurance.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb, or balance on a ladder as needed.
• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Pay

The hourly rate for this role is $18.45‑$20.17, based on experience.
