Store Operations Associate

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain stores within your district, requiring skills in both customer service and property maintenance.
• Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interact face‑to‑face with customers, providing excellent service and building rapport.
• Meet monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walk the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Work independently and as part of a team renting self‑storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments via the Point‑of‑Sale System (POS), completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
• Perform property maintenance: daily walks of the property, cleaning units and store grounds, opening and closing storage doors (up to 50 lbs.), mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning out storage units, and similar activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe storage facility to meet company guidelines (clean restrooms, neat landscaping and parking areas, tidy storage doors, decluttered office space).

Qualifications

• Positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience delivering high‑quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
• Self‑driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up‑to‑date insurance.
• Frequently required to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb or balance on a ladder while performing duties.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without need for current or future sponsorship.
• Some locations may require Sunday hours.
