Hourly, entry-level position supporting daily operations to meet the store’s financial goals, customer-experience standards, and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist design consultants with order entry, cash management, and financing applications.
- Order parts for customers (arm caps, table legs, hardware, etc.).
- Manage and reconcile petty cash, cash drawer, and daily deposits.
- Audit sales orders using the daily transaction report.
- Resolve post-purchase customer-service issues.
- Schedule deliveries, service calls, and conduct customer-satisfaction surveys.
- Process service orders and maintain communication on service status.
- Receive and process purchase orders for parts or store pick-ups.
- Audit and approve daily business folders; ensure all supporting documentation is sent to Retail Accounting.
- Oversee store expense control, warehouse procedures, inventory accuracy, and building maintenance.
- Communicate with Human Resources, distribution centers, visual team, corporate customer care, and accounting.
- Perform additional operational duties as assigned.
- Maintain satisfactory time and attendance.
- Collaborate on floor moves and ensure adherence to floor-set guide and visual standards.
- Support merchandising and marketing by tagging new merchandise and updating tags.

- Proficiency in Windows-based software (Word, Excel).
- Ability to navigate and use Bassett systems.
- Occasional lifting/pulling up to 25 pounds.
- Occasional bending or reaching overhead.
Retail experience is a plus but not required.
