STORE OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATOR

About the role

This is an hourly, entry-level position. The Store Operations Administrator (SOA) is responsible for assisting the manager in the daily operations of the Bassett Home Furnishings retail location, so that the store’s financial objectives, customer experience, and daily tasks are consistently achieved.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to arrange payment for merchandise
• Provide follow up on customer service issues
• Schedule deliveries
• Respond to post delivery and service surveys
• Provide information on many other issues and questions
• Ensure adherence to the Bassett standard in the areas of customer relations, administrative functions, operational processes, and systems
• Assist design consultants with order entry, cash management, and financing applications
• Assist ordering parts for customers such as arm caps, table legs, hardware, etc.
• Direct administrative functions, including management and maintenance of: Petty cash reconciliation, along with reimbursement and balancing of the cash drawer
