Store Manager - Sunoco (Store 1801)

Essential Functions

• Supervise daily operations and maintain product preparation, customer service, and cleanliness standards for the store.
• Interview and select candidates for retail positions.
• Select, train, and ensure benefits of all employees, including providing training in all areas of operation.
• Counsel, discipline, and dismiss retail outlet personnel within approved policy guidelines.
• Effectively lead and manage the entire employee group.
• Maintain fast, friendly, convenient, and courteous customer service.
• Implement marketing programs and policies, provide timely performance reviews, motivation, recognition, discipline, and wage administration.
• Manage cash, merchandise, company assets, and ensure proper handling of various forms of payment and merchandise.
• Adequately inventory, control prices, and implement approved motor fuels pricing directions.
• Achieve and maintain location maintenance and appearance standards that meet image expectations.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, walking, and standing daily.
• Ensure regular checks and proper maintenance of security systems where applicable.
• Recommend enhancements and effectively merchandise through display, pricing, promotion, and service.
• Maintain company standards of restaurant safety and security.
• Perform any other requirement that the Territory Manager and business needs require.

Requirements

• Experience with convenience stores and a proven track record.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associates Degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and successful retail management experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Available for training.
• Knowledge or ability to learn business-related software.

• Achieving and maintaining service and image standards.
