About the role

The Store Manager oversees all aspects of store operations, influencing guest satisfaction and driving sales through exceptional customer service and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a multiunit store operation
  • Model best-in-class guest service
  • Support the shopping environment and promote GameStop’s guest benefits
  • Hire, train, and retain high-performing associates
  • Schedule associates and ensure optimal guest service
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to team members
  • Count, balance, and reconcile daily business transactions
  • Perform inventory counts and fulfill Omni-Channel orders
  • Protect company assets through inventory control and loss prevention
  • Lead the team in achieving sales, profit, and shrink goals

Qualifications

  • Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the US
  • At least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • At least 1 year of retail management experience required; 3 years preferred
  • Video game knowledge preferred
