About the role
The Store Manager oversees all aspects of store operations, influencing guest satisfaction and driving sales through exceptional customer service and product knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a multiunit store operation
- Model best-in-class guest service
- Support the shopping environment and promote GameStop’s guest benefits
- Hire, train, and retain high-performing associates
- Schedule associates and ensure optimal guest service
- Supervise and delegate tasks to team members
- Count, balance, and reconcile daily business transactions
- Perform inventory counts and fulfill Omni-Channel orders
- Protect company assets through inventory control and loss prevention
- Lead the team in achieving sales, profit, and shrink goals
Qualifications
- Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the US
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least 1 year of retail management experience required; 3 years preferred
- Video game knowledge preferred
