The Store Manager oversees all aspects of store operations, influencing guest satisfaction and driving sales. This role involves managing a team, promoting the GameStop brand, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a multiunit store operation
• Model and provide best-in-class guest service
• Support the shopping environment and promote GameStop benefits
• Hire, train, and retain associates
• Schedule and supervise staff to ensure optimal guest service
• Ensure store cleanliness and organize merchandise
• Manage inventory and fulfill orders
• Report and resolve discrepancies
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment

Requirements

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the US
• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred
• At least 1 year of retail management experience
• At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred
• Video game knowledge preferred

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic math and alphabetizing skills
• Ability to stand and move for up to 12 hours per day
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
