Store Manager - St. Louis

About the role

The Direct Tools Factory Outlet, a division of TTI Power Equipment, seeks a dynamic individual to lead their St. Louis store. This role combines selling, relationship retailing, and store operations, requiring a versatile candidate who can wear multiple hats including supervisor, team lead, inventory controller, display and merchandising pro, and driver of increased performance and profits.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to increase sales and profits of the store
• Manage inventory and ensure proper display and merchandising
• Oversee store operations and customer interactions
• Establish an environment of performance and accountability
• Lift heavy packages in excess of 40lbs as needed
• Work flexible schedules, including evenings, days, and weekends

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' retail supervisory/management experience required
• TTI brand product knowledge preferred
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven ability to increase sales and profitability
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office suite, proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Customer-focused and sales-driven
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Willingness to travel for training and work-related trips

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift heavy packages in excess of 40lbs
• Knowledge of TeamWork software preferred
