Responsibilities
Drive sales with purpose and determination, refining strategies based on business analysis and observations.
Develop and motivate internal talent by assessing strengths and opportunities, and modeling selling behaviors.
Seek out and network with exceptional external talent, investing time in developing strong succession plans for leadership roles.
Own day-to-day store operations, balancing associate availability, peak times, and seasonal demands to ensure exceptional service.
Create a work environment where diversity and inclusivity are valued, promoting team engagement through fresh and exciting initiatives.
Requirements
A high school diploma or GED.
1-5 years of retail store management experience, preferably in specialty retail.
Ability to build constructive and effective relationships within store teams.
Proven ability to set objectives and goals, organize work, and meet and exceed goals.
Expertise in leading, managing, motivating, and communicating positively with store associates at all levels.
Ability to train, coach, and develop associates.
Independent judgment and discretion, working with the Territory Sales Manager as needed.
Cognitive skills including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis.
Experience in leading general retail practices and procedures.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
Basic computer skills.
Qualifications
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
Regularly walk, stand, stoop, kneel, climb, push, pull, and perform repetitive lifting.
