What You’ll Do
- Greet Guests with a warm welcome and a smile
- Aid Store Manager in building and developing a strong store team
- Monitor product levels on the sales floor, rotate stock, and keep product levels full
- Oversee quality control, merchandising, & food safety programs in locations that offer hot food
- Operate the cash register in an efficient manner
- Assist the Store Manager by overseeing quality control, merchandising, safety programs and other guidelines in place for successful food service operation
- Perform other duties as assigned at the discretion of the Store Manager or District Manager
Minimum Education and Experience
- Minimum Education: High School or GED
- Minimum Experience: 1 year retail or food experience
- Preferred Education: Preferred Education
- Preferred Experience: 1 year in retail, guest service or restaurant, in a leadership role
Skills and Certifications
- Soft Skills: Comfortable talking and interacting with guests and team members, high energy, able to move from one activity to another quickly, team oriented, willing to give extra effort to help others, computer skills helpful
- Specialized attire required in food establishments (hats or visors, gloves etc. provided)
Scheduling and Conditions
- This position is full-time and involves working a variety of hours, day and night, as Turkey Hill locations can be open 24 hours depending on the store.
- Weekend & Holiday hours are required.
- Hrs & Conditions: Full-time – 40 regular hours maximum with 5 hours overtime required
- Travel: 5%
- Physical Requirements: Ability to maneuver and regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Ability to stand/walk 8 hours a day; reach overhead, bend, squat, twist, reach, grasp and grip and work in cooler (cold temperatures).
