About the role

Trek Store Stuyvesant is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the position of Store Manager. This is a pivotal role where you will lead the store's operations, set standards for exceptional customer experiences, and drive top-notch employee performance and sales.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales by leading from the floor, providing incredible hospitality, and being one of the top two performing salespeople.

  • Support financial goals through participation in the annual budgeting process, financial reviews, and team coaching.

  • Lead training across all key areas and validate through observation, role-play, and tools like Trek U.

  • Host bi-weekly leadership meetings with your leadership team and directly responsible individuals (DRIs) to review performance and plan ahead.

  • Maintain an organized, shopper-friendly store with strong merchandising and displays.

  • Oversee store operations including inventory management, supply management, and QuickBooks exports.

  • Manage hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and team development.

  • Support all HR processes including discipline and team engagement.

Requirements

Required:

  • At least 2 years of experience in the retail industry.

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to build up the people around you.

  • Experience in managing inventory, merchandising, payroll, scheduling, and customer service.

  • A passion for bikes and a belief that they make the world better.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Comfortable with change and adaptable to fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

Preferred:

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Store Manager or equivalent leadership role.

  • Experience with Trek U and other training programs.

  • Experience with QuickBooks and other financial management software.

Skills

Essential:

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to motivate and develop a team.

  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.

  • Knowledge of retail operations and financial management.

Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00
