Store Manager
About the role
Trek Store Stuyvesant is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the position of Store Manager. This is a pivotal role where you will lead the store's operations, set standards for exceptional customer experiences, and drive top-notch employee performance and sales.
Responsibilities
Drive sales by leading from the floor, providing incredible hospitality, and being one of the top two performing salespeople.
Support financial goals through participation in the annual budgeting process, financial reviews, and team coaching.
Lead training across all key areas and validate through observation, role-play, and tools like Trek U.
Host bi-weekly leadership meetings with your leadership team and directly responsible individuals (DRIs) to review performance and plan ahead.
Maintain an organized, shopper-friendly store with strong merchandising and displays.
Oversee store operations including inventory management, supply management, and QuickBooks exports.
Manage hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and team development.
Support all HR processes including discipline and team engagement.
Requirements
Required:
At least 2 years of experience in the retail industry.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to build up the people around you.
Experience in managing inventory, merchandising, payroll, scheduling, and customer service.
A passion for bikes and a belief that they make the world better.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Comfortable with change and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
Qualifications
Preferred:
At least 1 year of experience as a Store Manager or equivalent leadership role.
Experience with Trek U and other training programs.
Experience with QuickBooks and other financial management software.
Skills
Essential:

Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of retail operations and financial management.
Benefits
Annual Salary: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00
