Key Responsibilities
- Daily Operations: Oversee all aspects of the store including opening/closing, inventory management, and maintaining a pristine, organized retail environment.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and schedule a team of associates. You will be responsible for coaching staff on service techniques, shipping regulations, and print services.
- Customer Experience: Act as the primary point of escalation for complex customer needs, ensuring a "solutions-first" approach to shipping, packing, and printing.
- Financial Oversight: Manage the store’s P&L, monitor labor costs, and implement strategies to hit monthly sales targets and KPIs.
- Tech Expertise: Master the TUPSS Point of Sale (POS) system, shipping software, and professional print equipment (Fiery controllers, wide-format printers, etc.).
Requirements & Qualifications
- Management Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years in a retail or hospitality management role (Required).
- The UPS Store Experience: Prior experience as a TUPSS Manager or Senior Associate is a huge bonus and will put you at the top of our list.
- Notary Public: Must be a commissioned Texas Notary Public (or be willing/eligible to become one within 90 days of hire).
- Physical Ability: Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for interacting with corporate clients and team members.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign/Illustrator) is a major advantage for our print business.
