Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage daily store operations, including staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure proper staffing levels and adherence to safety and security policies.
• Maintain optimal inventory through ordering, stocking, and presentation standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service while keeping the store clean, organized, and secure.
• Analyze sales and expense data to identify business trends and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, federal and state labor laws, and safety regulations.
• Oversee cash handling, security procedures, and operational paperwork.
• Foster a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management.
• Familiarity with legal employment practices (preferred).
• Bilingual skills may be preferred at some locations.

Skills

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, cash handling, and safety procedures.
• Ability to train, motivate, and evaluate staff effectively.

Physical & Work Environment

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 55 pounds.
• Use of retail equipment such as scanners, pricing guns, and carts.
• Fast‑paced environment with occasional exposure to outside weather conditions.
