Store Manager

About the role

Steinhafels is seeking a Store Manager to lead one of our retail locations. In this role, you will hire, train, coach, and develop a strong sales team, maintain a strong presence on the sales floor, support your team throughout the sales process, and ensure every customer receives an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store ensuring every detail has been accomplished
• Keep the sales floor maintained with well-trained Sales Associates who uphold our standards
• Handle sales conflicts in a timely manner with the goal to resolve
• Handle all disciplinary actions as set by the company guidelines
• Observe sales staff to better coach a successful team
• Conduct pre-hiring surveys, interviewing, and hiring to meet staffing requirements
• Direct the staff in setup of new sales events
• Take part in the training of new sales associates
• Participate in management meetings
• Require punctuality and regular attendance
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to motivate, communicate, and train employees
• Ability to complete required reports on time as assigned
• Good organizational skills
• Regular weekend availability
