Store Manager

About the role

Steinhafels is recruiting a Store Manager to lead one of our retail locations. Store Managers play a critical role in the success of the store by hiring, training, coaching, and developing a strong sales team. They maintain a strong presence on the sales floor, supporting their team throughout the sales process and stepping in when needed to help overcome obstacles, close sales, and ensure every customer receives an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store ensuring every detail has been accomplished
• Keep the sales floor maintained with well-trained Sales Associates who uphold our standards
• Handle sales conflicts in a timely manner with the goal to resolve
• Handle all disciplinary actions as set by the company guidelines
• Observe sales staff to better coach a successful staff
• Conduct pre-hiring surveys, interviewing, and hiring to meet staffing requirements
• Direct the staff in setup of new sales events
• Take part in the training of new sales associates
• Participate in management meetings
• Require punctuality and regular attendance
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to motivate, communicate, and train employees
• Ability to complete required reports on time as assigned
• Good organizational skills
• Regular weekend availability
