Store Manager

About the role

Grow with a leader in the industry. Roberts Oxygen, a trusted name in industrial, medical, and specialty gases and equipment, is looking for a Store Manager to join our team in Petersburg, VA.

Responsibilities

• Assesses store area potential and develops annual store business goals to ensure continued development of current business and the addition of new business
• Processes end of day sales report, daily deposits, open orders and confirmation of all tickets
• Responsible for store yearly sales, gross profit, and net contribution forecast
• Works closely with sales team to assist with sales process, customer order processing, quotes, and inventory availability
• Manages and monitors store inventory and properly merchandise goods in the retail/branch store
• Effectively advocates, questions, and listens to acquire information on needs, wants, position, and interests of the customer – represents the Company and proactively maintains customer relations
• Stays aware of current products, services, and industry trends
• Establish and maintain vendor relationships to ensure best use of products and promotions
• Collaborate with other branches to assist with customer and inner branch needs

Requirements

• 3 years of sales or related experience in the compressed and/or medical gases industry; or industrial sales
• Strong computer skills and usage of FACTS and Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet searching
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Spanish bilingual is a plus
• Ability to lift 75 pounds
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
