Store Manager

About the role

The Store Manager at Little Green Apple is a key position within the team, driving sales and delivering a memorable shopping experience. This role involves managing the store and its team to meet sales, people, IAT, customer service goals, and store standards.

Responsibilities

• Exceed sales plan for the store and manage all operational aspects successfully.
• Connect with customers to build relationships and earn their loyalty and return visits.
• Lead and conduct effective training to elevate the team's performance.
• Coach and mentor team members to help them thrive and connect with customers.
• Execute in-store events and services that benefit the local community.

Requirements

• A high school diploma, GED, equivalent or higher.
• 1+ year of retail experience.
• Ability to stand/walk, bend/stoop/crawl/reach, climb ladders, and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Able to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.
• Available to open and close the store 2 times per week and 4 weekend shifts per month.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail store manager experience with a dynamic and complex specialty retailer.
• Leadership and interpersonal skills to train and motivate employees.
• Business acumen to reach financial goals.
• Strong verbal selling skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to change.
• A strong sense of urgency.
• Technical proficiency with computers, Microsoft Word, Excel, and ability to learn new technology quickly.

• Tech-savvy with proficiency in point of sale systems, handheld devices, and Windows operating systems.
