Store Manager
About the role
The Läderach Store Manager position is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic and expanding company. Founded in 1962, Läderach is a family-owned Swiss chocolate manufacturer with over 2500 employees worldwide. The company's headquarters are in the canton of Glarus, where they produce fresh chocolates and continuously innovate in agile teams.
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer experience, motivating staff to provide superior customer service
- Oversee product sales and register duties, shop and shelf care, gift packaging, and in-store order fulfillment
- Ensure the accuracy of Läderach seasonal staging and product merchandising
- Schedule effective staff shifts and coordinate store meetings/events
- Ensure the accuracy of product merchandising and store inventory orders
- Ensure in-store compliance and loss prevention standards
- Act as a key communicator of corporate values to customers and employees
- Take on other role-related responsibilities as assigned by the Regional Manager
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a retail space with increasing levels of responsibility (from associate level to shift lead/assistant manager)
- Strong leadership, staff management, and customer service skills
- Proficient in computer skills such as email use, Microsoft 365, data entry, spreadsheets, and POS
- Reliable with a flexible schedule, including weekend and holiday availability
- Quality-minded with keen attention to detail
- Proactive and efficient
- Passionate about chocolate
