What You’ll Do
- Greet Guests with a warm welcome and a smile
- Aid Store Manager in building and developing a strong store team
- Monitor product levels on the sales floor, rotate stock, and keep product levels full
- Oversee quality control, merchandising, & food safety programs
- Operate the cash register in an efficient manner
- Assist Store Manager by overseeing quality control, merchandising, safety programs and other guidelines in place for successful food service operation
- Perform other duties as assigned at the discretion of the Store Manager or District Manager
Minimum Education and Experience
- Minimum Education: High School or GED
- Minimum Experience: 1 year retail or food experience
- Preferred Education: Preferred Education
- Preferred Experience: 1 year in retail, guest service or restaurant, in a leadership role
Skills and Certifications
- ServSafe / Food Safety certification (a plus but not mandatory)
Soft Skills
- Comfortable talking and interacting with guests and team members
- High energy
- Ability to move from one activity to another quickly
- Team oriented; willing to give extra effort to help others
- Computer skills are helpful
Scheduling and Conditions
- This position is full-time and involves working a variety of hours, day and night, as Kwik Shop locations can be open 24 hours depending on the store.
- Weekend & Holiday hours are required.
- Hrs & Conditions: Full-time – 40 regular hours maximum with 5 hours overtime required
- Travel: 5%
Physical Requirements
- Ability to maneuver and regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand/walk 8 hours a day; reach overhead, bend, squat, twist, reach, grasp and grip and work in cooler (cold temperatures)
Other
- Specialized attire required in food establishments (hats or visors, gloves etc. provided)
