About the role
We are seeking a Store Manager who will lead our team in achieving sales targets, recruiting, developing, and managing employee performance. This role requires a strong leader who can handle various challenges and foster a positive, engaging environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the store meets its sales and comp sales goals
- Recruit, develop, and retain a team that collaborates and is passionate about the store
- Create buzz and engage customers through social media, store apps, and clienteling
- Operate a sound business by balancing organizational structure, delegation, and customer-first practices
- Communicate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback
- Generate and analyze sales reports to inform strategic decisions
- Maintain inventory and prevent shrinkage
- Merchandise the store effectively using planograms and promoting promotions on time
- Build a skilled team through mentorship, recognition, and feedback
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience
- Skills in communication, recruitment, and operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising)
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent; a degree is preferred
- Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and pack/unpack boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
- Open-minded and curious about pop culture and music trends
