Store Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Store Manager who can lead our team in achieving sales targets, recruiting, developing, and managing their performance. The ideal candidate will be a retail maverick, a believer in developing talent, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the store achieves its sales plan and/or comp sales goals
• Recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative and passionate team
• Create buzz and customer engagement through social media, store web applications, and clienteling
• Lead an operationally sound business with the right balance of organizational structure, delegation, and customer-first selling practices
• Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, schedules, and external factors affecting business
• Communicate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback
• Run sales reports and use data to guide strategies to meet sales targets
• Mentor, recognize, and provide feedback to build a bench of equally talented, passionate staff
• Merchandise the store compellingly using planograms and launch promotions on time
• Adapt to new technologies, communicate company policies and procedures, and control supply ownership (spending only as needed)

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience
• Skills in communication, recruiting, and operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising)
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent; a degree is preferred
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise product, and pack/unpack boxes weighing up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• Open-minded and inquisitive about pop culture fandoms and music trends
• Able to work in a fast-changing retail environment

Benefits

The pay range for this position starts at $24.15 per hour, with other factors determining the final salary for potential new hires.
