Store Manager

About the role

We're looking for a Store Manager who can bring the fandom to life. Your responsibilities include leading the store to achieve sales targets, recruiting and developing a passionate team, managing operations, and delivering a compelling merchandise presentation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the store hits its sales plan and/or comp sales goals
• Recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative and passionate team
• Create buzz and customer engagement through social media, store apps, and clienteling
• Manage operations effectively, balancing structure, delegation, and customer-first practices
• Communicate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback
• Run sales reports and use data to guide your strategy
• Maintain inventory and prevent shrinkage
• Merchandise the store using planograms and launch promotions on time
• Build a bench of equally talented and passionate staff through mentorship, recognition, and feedback

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience
• Skills in communication, recruiting, and operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising)
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent; a degree is preferred
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise product, and pack/unpack boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
• Open-minded and inquisitive about pop culture fandoms and music trends
