Store Manager

Minimum starting salary range: $45,900 – $57,375 per year.

Responsibilities

• Provide underserved customers access to high-quality goods that enhance their quality of life
• Set daily and weekly sales goals, oversee and direct coworkers’ sales activities, approve rental agreements, and monitor sales performance measured by revenue and growth
• Oversee collections activities, follow up on accounts requiring manager intervention, approve customer commitments, and ensure compliance with collections procedures
• Monitor and achieve store profit goals by managing resources, ensuring policy compliance, controlling expenses, overseeing inventory, product ordering, pricing, and cash handling
• Resolve customer problems and complaints quickly
• Oversee and provide training and development for all coworkers
• Schedule and organize daily activities and goals, staff the store, recruit and hire, maximize coworker retention, and reduce turnover
• Manage direct reports and train for exceptional customer service

Requirements

• 3–5 years of retail/management experience
• Completion of Rent-A-Center’s Store Manager Development Program
• Computer literacy/proficiency in store operation applications
• Valid state driver’s license and good driving record (required for driving company vehicles)
