Store Manager

Minimum starting salary range: $56,700 – $70,875 per year.

Responsibilities

• Provide underserved customers access to high-quality goods that enhance their quality of life
• Sales: Set daily and weekly sales goals, oversee and direct coworkers’ sales activities, approve rental agreements, monitor sales performance measured by revenue and growth
• Account Management: Oversee collections activities, follow up on accounts requiring manager intervention, approve customer commitments, and ensure compliance with collections procedures and practices
• Leadership: Achieve store profit goals by managing resources, ensuring policy compliance, controlling expenses, overseeing inventory, product ordering, pricing, cash handling, and store security; resolve customer complaints quickly
• Coworker Management: Train and develop coworkers, schedule daily activities and goals, staff and recruit for the store, maximize coworker retention, reduce turnover, and train for exceptional customer service

Requirements

• 3–5 years of retail/management experience
• Completion of Rent-A-Center’s Store Manager Development Program
• Computer literacy/proficiency in store operation applications
• Valid state driver’s license and good driving record (required for company vehicle use)
