Store Manager

Minimum starting salary rate of $54,001 per year - $67,501 per year.

Responsibilities

• Provide underserved customers access to high-quality goods that enhance their quality of life
• Sales: Set daily and weekly sales goals, oversee and direct coworkers' sales activities, approve rental agreements, monitor sales performance as measured by revenue and growth
• Account Management: Oversee collections activities, follow up on accounts requiring manager intervention, approve customer commitments, and ensure compliance with collections procedures and practices
• Leadership: Achieve planned profit results by managing store resources, ensuring compliance with company policies, protecting company assets through expense management, inventory control, product ordering, pricing, cash handling, and store security, and resolve problems and complaints quickly
• Coworker Management: Oversee and provide effective training and development for all coworkers, schedule and organize daily activities and goals, staff and recruit for the store, maximize coworker retention, reduce turnover, and train for exceptional customer service

Requirements

• 3–5 years of retail/management experience
• Completion of Rent-A-Center’s Store Manager Development Program
• Computer literacy/proficiency in store operation applications
• Valid state driver’s license and good driving record (required for driving company vehicles)
