Store Manager

Minimum starting salary: $70,200 – $87,750 per year.

Responsibilities

• Provide underserved customers access to high-quality goods that enhance their quality of life.
• Sales: Set daily and weekly sales goals, oversee and direct coworkers’ sales activities, approve rental agreements, and monitor sales performance measured by revenue and growth.
• Account Management: Oversee collections activities, follow up on accounts requiring manager intervention, approve customer commitments, and ensure compliance with collections procedures and practices.
• Leadership: Achieve profit goals by managing store resources, ensuring compliance with company policies, controlling expenses, overseeing inventory, product ordering, pricing, cash handling, and store security. Resolve problems and complaints quickly.
• Coworker Management: Train and develop coworkers, schedule daily activities and goals, recruit and hire staff, maximize retention, reduce turnover, and foster exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of retail/management experience
• Completion of Rent-A-Center’s Store Manager Development Program
• Computer literacy/proficiency in store operation applications
• Valid state driver’s license and good driving record (company vehicle use required)
