About the role
This isn't your average sales role—it's an opportunity to build a lasting career helping customers create spaces they love. The Store Manager provides direction and leadership, drives sales and profitability, ensures exemplary guest service, maintains visual merchandising and operational standards, recruits and develops sales associates, and meets or exceeds sales and profitability goals.
Responsibilities
- Hiring, training (computer, sales system, product), and setting metric standards
- Managing customer relations and overseeing staffing to control overtime
- Reviewing merchandise mix for optimal sale efficiency
- Maintaining a positive work environment and fostering good communication
- Documenting issues to improve communication and training
- Providing training to ensure accurate ticket writing
Requirements
- Experience in a retail sales environment with increasing levels of responsibility and strong knowledge of general retail practices and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and train others with strong communication, interpersonal, and diplomacy skills
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Computer proficiency, including MS Office products
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational abilities
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Supervisory or management experience in a retail sales or similar customer service environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

Pay
$70,000 - $150,000 annually (Salary + Commission Based)
