Store Manager

About the role

The Store Manager is accountable for the total operation of the store, including hiring, mentoring, supervision, buying and merchandising products, scheduling, controlling inventory, and complying with relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve the highest standards in retail execution.
• Model and provide outstanding customer service.
• Train and lead an outstanding team consistent with Consumer Cooperative’s vision and standards.
• Implement and support all company programs.
• Establish a positive work environment and maintain high team morale.
• Develop team members to become future Team Leaders through leading by example, excellent communication, and delivering clear messages.
• Drive team productivity and achieve required labor and margin targets.
• Maintain a well-stocked and beautifully merchandised store.
• Uphold and maintain department and store standards.
• Be an active and positive participant in store leadership.
• Uphold all Loss Prevention and Safety practices and procedures.

• Strong knowledge of department financials and labor.

• Available to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the store.
• Excellent computer skills.
• 1 year of experience.
