Responsibilities

• Sales and Profit: Achieve retail store targets, foster growth, and implement strategies and promotions to drive traffic and increase sales.
• Memorable Shopping Experiences: Create positive and inclusive interactions, helping customers find pieces that reflect their unique personality.
• Piercing Excellence: Complete comprehensive training to become a trusted piercing expert, conduct piercings, educate on aftercare, maintain a sterile environment, and address customer questions and concerns.
• Store Operations: Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, cash transactions, visual merchandising, and promotional activities to reflect Claire’s fun and joyful brand.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, manage, and develop your team, fostering a culture of collaboration, motivation, and accountability to drive results.
• Brand Representation: Showcase Claire’s products with enthusiasm, offer fashion tips, and ensure the store is well-merchandised to reflect the latest trends and maximize sales opportunities.

Requirements

• Ability to conduct piercings with patience and empathy, particularly with young or anxious customers.
• Proficiency in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years of retail management experience.
• Ability to stand during scheduled shifts and maneuver 11-35kg (25-75lbs).
• Capability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders or step stools while assisting customers and merchandising.
• Passion for providing customers with opportunities to express themselves freely every day.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, employees, and management.
• Strong grasp of mathematics for inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling.
• Driven team leadership with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to work independently when needed.
• Passion for fashion and staying up-to-date with the latest trends to enhance the customer experience.
• Ability to create curated fashion looks with products during your shift.
