Responsibilities

• Drive sales and profit by achieving retail store targets, implementing strategies, and promoting growth through promotions and customer engagement.
• Create memorable shopping experiences by infusing positivity, inclusivity, and personalized service into every customer interaction.
• Become a trained piercing specialist: conduct piercings, educate customers on aftercare, maintain a sterile environment, and address questions or concerns.
• Oversee store operations, including inventory management, cash transactions, visual merchandising, and promotional activities to reflect Claire’s fun and joyful brand.
• Lead and develop your team by recruiting, training, motivating, and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth.
• Represent the Claire’s brand with enthusiasm, offering fashion advice and ensuring the store is well-merchandised to maximize sales opportunities.

Requirements

• Ability to conduct piercings with patience and empathy, particularly for young or anxious customers.
• Proficiency in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years of retail management experience.
• Physical ability to stand for scheduled shifts, maneuver 11-35kg (25-75lbs), bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders or step stools.
• Passion for helping customers express themselves and providing excellent service.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, employees, and management.
• Proficiency in mathematics for inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently when needed.
• Passion for fashion and staying up-to-date with the latest trends to enhance the customer experience.
• Ability to create curated fashion looks with products during shifts.
