About the role
We are seeking a Store Manager to lead and inspire a team of employees at Carter’s stores. This role involves fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment, guiding team members to excel, and maintaining a strong connection with customers.
Responsibilities
- Build a talent pipeline through networking and recruiting
- Develop succession plans by training and developing your team
- Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive work environment
- Grow leaders through providing direction, delegation, and investing in their development
- Create a genuine customer focus on the sales floor
- Execute Company’s direction on merchandising and operations
- Manage payroll and budgets
- Analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and identify behaviors to drive results
- Seamlessly lead and integrate an omnichannel experience
- Reduce loss through consistent customer service, education, and operational controls
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of retail or related management experience leading direct reports
- A high school diploma or GED
Qualifications
- A positive and solutions-oriented mindset
- Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills, including leading, directing, and executing multiple tasks at once
- Proficient computer and technology skills (Outlook, Excel, Web navigation, etc.)
