About the role

As a Store Manager at Carter’s, you will lead a team to serve growing families, fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment. You will educate your team on product styles, features, and benefits, and support their career growth.

Responsibilities

  • Build a talent pipeline through networking and recruiting
  • Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive work environment
  • Grow leaders through providing direction, delegation, and investing in their development
  • Create a genuine customer focus on the sales floor by leading and directing the Leader on Duty program
  • Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits
  • Build customer loyalty through directing and coaching the team on the benefits of customer participation in loyalty programs
  • Execute Company’s direction on merchandising and operations; manage payroll and budgets
  • Analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and identify behaviors to drive results
  • Seamlessly lead and integrate an omnichannel experience ensuring teams are trained on the tools available
  • Reduce loss through a consistent level of customer service, education, and operational controls

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of retail or related management experience leading direct reports
  • A high school diploma or GED

Qualifications

  • A positive and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills, including leading, directing, and executing multiple tasks at once
  • Proficient computer and technology skills (Outlook, Excel, Web navigation, etc.)

  • Ability to lift 40 pounds, bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time, climb up and down a ladder
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled, with a minimum of two closing shifts a week

Pay

Compensation for this position ranges from $27.50 - $36.25 per hour based on experience and location.

Schedule

You can expect availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled, with a minimum of two closing shifts a week.
