Store Install Coordinator
About the Role
Dillard's is looking for an energetic individual to join the Endpoint Services team. This role involves installations of Point of Sale (POS) software and hardware, software testing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues with store workstations and POS systems. The position also includes proactive maintenance tasks, documentation for stores and projects, and occasional on-site store visits.
The Team
The Install team is a highly motivated group that collaborates closely with multiple departments and external vendors. As the "go-to" team for major equipment swaps, they play a key role in equipment installations. The team generates weekly reports for stores to assist with offline POS and workstations, ensuring deadlines are met to keep projects on track.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of floor plans, POS configurations, and switch configurations for assigned stores.
- Communicate with store personnel and engineers regarding specific store demands and special projects.
- Support software and hardware deployments, including scheduling and store notifications.
- Use available tools to load operating systems and install or repair applications.
- Resolve store workstation and POS-related tickets.
- Support remote events, including scheduling, managing devices, and installations.
- Assist with new store openings and remodels.
- Mark floor plans, configuration charts, and other documentation.
- Travel to stores for hardware and software installations as required.
- Work directly with field techs, electricians, and construction crews on-site or remotely.
- Review software changes with quality assurance analysts and developers prior to testing.
- Create and maintain documentation for stores, including build instructions, installation manuals, store visit documents, new store folders, wire manuals, conversion manuals, etc.
- Assist other team members on projects as needed.
- Occasional out-of-state travel may be required.
- Utilize advanced AI software to optimize records, facilitate automated repair sequences, and improve operational flow.
Requirements
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to work onsite at Corporate Headquarters in Little Rock, AR.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Team player with flexible work hours.
- Willing and able to travel as necessary.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Quick learner with strong attention to detail.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a store or IT field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Google email, spreadsheets, and documents.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Pleasant and even-tempered with a professional telephone manner.
Schedule
This is a full-time, on-site position located at Dillard's headquarters in Little Rock, Arkansas. A high level of attendance is required as an essential function of this role.
