Store Executive Intern (Store Leadership Intern) - Ventura, CA (Starting Summer 2025)

About the role

The Stores Executive Internship is a paid 40‑hour/week, hands‑on training program that provides a realistic preview of the Executive Team Leader (Assistant Store Manager) role. Interns work closely with store managers and team members to understand Target’s retail business, spend most of their time leading the team, identifying store priorities, and delivering great guest service. The program teaches how to drive guest experience, impact financial, team, and operational performance, and learn from a mentor who leads a department. Interns lead and motivate teams, drive sales results, merchandise products, and provide exceptional guest experiences while receiving ongoing developmental conversations. Leadership responsibilities include building culture, guiding the team to grow and achieve goals, and supporting daily operations.
